Best Buy is recalling over 250,000 Insignia air fryers sold in the United States and Canada due to fire and burn hazards. The handles of the air fryers can overheat and break, posing risks for fires and burns. The glass door on the oven can shatter if overheated, leading to fire, burn, and cut injuries. While no injuries have been reported, there have been incidents of glass shattering and air fryers catching fire. The affected models and the number of units sold in the US and Canada are listed. Customers are advised to stop using the fryers and follow the instructions to get a refund or store credit. There was also a recall of 2 million Cosori air fryers in February due to fire risks.
